Fossils, Meteorites, Arrowheads Introduction

Fossils
We carry fossils from now and extinct plants and animals that lived between 70-450 million years ago.

Arrowheads
Most of our arrowheads are from the Woodland (ca. 500 B.C. - 900 A.D.) to Late Archaic Era (ca. 500 B.C. - 1000 A.D.)

Our American Indian arrowheads are bird points to larger, discovered in digs and caves from eastern states to the Midwest, South and Western spots.

Meteorites from outer space 4 billion years old. Comet dust originating from asteroids during the Big Bang.

Gifts

We have worked with the Boy Scouts of AmericaTM to create a Rock Map of Michigan. Also, many people contact us looking for aesthetically pleasing pieces of Rock Art . . . A perfect addition to any room!

Our mineral specimens are a collectors dream come true. Also at this time they are a fabulous investment. They never depreciate in value.

Michigan Rocks Introduction

Michigan has over 106 minerals. Of course we carry many of them - copper, petoskey, datolite, green stone, hemetite, pudding stone, etc.

Aquatic Treasure Introduction

We carry a good selection although some coral and rare shells are becoming harder to obtain.

Specialties Introduction

Rock Specialties covers any and all lapidary interests; be it crystal shapes - i.e. spheres, animals, wands, etc; it could be rough or slabs for cabbing or slabbing; for jewelry or display.

If you want to produce - look to our rough rocks and our Field tools, Tumblers and Grit.

Many of our slabs are the right size and thickness for wire wrapping and bead weaving.
